Cookie baking!

In case you are wondering, no, it was not "clean" cookie baking. Funny thing is, I totally thought I had all of the ingredients. I was wrong. I got home to make peanut blossoms first and guess what? No REAL sugar and almost out of all purpose flour. (These things are a no-no to us clean eaters.) So I had to go back and get those two things.

We baked and baked and baked and we too busy and messy to take pictures until the end.  Here's the loot.

Peanut Blossoms

Snicker doodles and mint chocolate chip cookies. (Made with Andes mints.)

Candy cane cookies made with crushed candy canes.

Shasta and I. Why do I look like a giant next to her?

Do you have any holiday baking or cooking traditions?
I usually bake cookies one day and make tamales with my oldest sister on another day. Tamales are exhausting because there are so many steps and the preparation starts the night before.

What is your favorite Christmas cookie?
I am not sure. I think anything with peppermint and chocolate is a win-win.
