This is for week 8/29/11to 9/3/11:
Monday:
Spin, back and bi's, abs
Tuesday:
5 mi. tempo., including one mile warm-up and cool down, and 3 miles @9:05. I managed to hold the tempo pace for most of the 3 miles. I started to slow down with 1/2 mile to go in the tempo. Average pace was 9:41, time was 48:23.
Wednesday:
Spin, chest and tri's
Thursday:
3 miles on the hamster wheel, legs/glutes, shoulders, abs/core
I slept in this morning because I needed more sleep and my body was like, "Hello!? You are supposed to be running!!" I got a little more sleep and took it to the treadmill. I would have much rather been running with my friends!!
Friday:
REST- I am liking this new glute workout. I was sore for 2 days.
Saturday:
8 mile long run. This was a recovery week. I usually obsess over how stinkin' hot it is, while driving to our start. I was in a fog and forgot to I forgot to eat my usual pre-run banana look at the beginning temps. It was thankfully cooler. Too bad it wasn't like that last week. Oh well. Total time was 1:22:03 and avg. pace was 10:15. Rock on!!
Thoughts: I am happy with this week. I am less stressed as I know that God is in control of everything. I can only do so much and leave the rest to Him!
